People think that if they eat low fat foods then they can eat a lot more and they will stay healthy. This is not true. Instead, you need to eat from a low carb food list and base your meals on these foods.
One of the best kept secrets about low carb diets is that you can eat a lot of different vegetables along with the meat, poultry, fish, and eggs. In fact, you can have a lot of different vegetables. It is a little harder to find a fruit you can eat though because of the high sugar content most fruits have. One big exception is the Avocado. This is a fruit, even though it looks like a veggie.
