Do you think this will work?

I have been desperately trying to find something that looks appropriate to store my BF’s audio cassettes but because most people don’t use those anymore, it’s been almost impossible. Sooooo, I was looking on Kohl’s website and I found this –

I was thinking about getting it in red since my living room space (I live in a studio apartment) is decorated in red and black.

What are your opinions? Any other suggestions will be helpful. Thanks so much in advance.
BTW – He has about 130 tapes total.
My BF is old school. He loves his tapes and nothing I’ve said has convinced him otherwise. Trust me, I’ve tried.
Don, how do you know what type of red my apartment is decorated in? Do you know me personally?

I think what you found would work but maybe you could find something more decorative that doesn’t actually look like storage. I don’t know the style of your apartment but a large wicker, red or black chest that could also be used as a bench or an end or coffee table might look nice too.
