What do you think NASA will announce about the Kepler Mission Tomorrow?
My guesses are:
- multiple earth sized planets
and on the far fringe -
Evidence of an artifact – such as a Dyson Sphere.
Your thoughts?
It’s too soon for them to have discovered any earth type planets. The Kepler web site explains that the best we could hope for, this soon, is the discovery of some gas giants. A Dyson’s sphere is completely out of the realm of possibility. Even if such an impossible structure existed, it would be surrounding the star. Exoplanets are detected using their stars. So there won’t be any Dyson’s spheres or any Scottish engineers trapped in a transporter pattern buffer in a ship crashed on the surface.
