Style Sideboard

how much would sell a antique Federal style sideboard buffett solid original wood for?
Probably not that much in this economy since antiques are not as popular as they were 20 years ago. Probably $50 to $100 even if you paid $500. I like to go to ebay and search for completed listings to get prices for antiques. I have a Welch dresser that should sell for like $5,000 to $15,ooo dollars based on listings on ebay but the completed listings do not show any sales so I do not expect I could get more than about $1000 to $200 on Craig’s list. Craig’s list is a great way to sell that type of furniture. Also if you have a consignment center they will sell if for you and give you 50%. You get less but it is out of the house and you do not need to deal with buyers. I just sold a beautiful Kitchen hoosier I paid $1100 for $150 and I got $75. We started the pricing at $350 and it never sold until prices at $150. If it was make in the 1800’s the price will be at least 2x what I mentioned above.
